
ServSafe CertificationAt the Pittsylvania Career & Technical Center, Mrs. Donna Hutson's Culinary Arts I class has spent six weeks covering food safety and sanitation. The students took the ServSafe Certification test. ServSafe is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association. In the State of Virginia each restaurant is required by law to have a ServSafe certified person on staff.
