Auto Technology provides instruction in the main-tenancies, servicing, and repair of all the systems of an automobile, which keep it running efficiently and safely. The student will gain knowledge of the operation of the internal combustion engine and how to maintain it in proper order by servicing, troubleshooting, and repair and overhaul. This program will enable the student to develop skill in upkeep and repair of these components and systems; carburetor and alignment, steering and cooling and drive train. Service and hand tools will be taught. Special attention will be given to shop safety. Instruction is guide lined to prepare students towards ASE certification.
